  Day 1: When Fear Takes Control Devotional Fear can be a powerful force that drives us to make choices we later regret. King Saul's story begins with promise but takes a tragic turn when he allows fear to govern his decisions. Like many of us, Saul faced legitimate challenges and threats. Consider David's approach when faced with critical military decisions. Instead of relying solely on strategy or numbers, he consistently turned to God first.
